The Opportunity
Templeton & Partners is looking for Backend Java Developer to join one of our international manufacturing clients in Gothenborg, Sweden for 12 month initial contract.
Various levels of experienced, minimum 3 years of experience though.
The Task
We're looking for Java Developer to undertake/be involved in a High importance DevOps Initiative in client's technology arm of the business.
Working with Continuous Delivery is extremely important, with team members taking responsibility to deliver high quality software - as micro services - all the way from requirements to production. Being a DevOps team we also deploy, operate, support and maintain our applications, and we do it on Cloud infrastructure (AWS).
Some of your key activities will include:
- Full-stack senior Java Back End developer delivering high code and test quality using agile methods. Embracing principles such as iterative development, continuous refactoring and clean and DRY code.
Essential:
Core Java 8, Core Spring, JMS (AMQ), REST, CI, test frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Wiremock etc), databases (Oracle, Postgres), Spring Boot, version handling (GIT, Subversion).
Good to have:
DevOps, micro services, NoSQL (Mongo), JS client frameworks (Angular, Aurelia), Fitnesse, Jenkins, Nexus, JBoss, Amazon Web Services, WMQ. Experience from telematics is a plus. A positive team-player with can-do personality and communication skills is expected.
At least three years of experience as Java developer.
