Full Stack Java Developer - Linear Optimization
Exciting opportunity for a long term contract as a Full Stack Java Developer w/Linear Optimization experience to work on well funded IT initiatives! This position entails 50/50 front and Back End development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS and Oracle, SQL and DB2 databases. We are looking for passionate developers who enjoy adding enhancements to high initiative projects. This project requires experience in Industrial Engineering and/or Operations Research with exposure to IBM CPLEX Optimization.
Once hired you will be working with the Development team at this successful and stable company located in Midtown. This company is investing in their IT initiatives and are currently working on an enterprise wide system enhancement. We are looking for innovative developers who enjoy working in a collaborative environment!
This is a long term, 12 month + contract position located in Midtown! This role offers flex hours, great work life balance and the opportunity for new enhancements on exciting projects and initiatives! We will consider out of town applicants for this role.
Required Skills:
- 5 + years Java Development experience
- Hands on Development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with production support and debugging code
- Experience with Industrial Engineering & Operations Research (IEOR)
- SQL experience
- Linear Programming experience
- Experience with IBM CPLEX
