.NET Developer

JOB SUMMARY
GTN Technical Staffing is currently seeking a .NET Developer for a contract opportunity in Dallas, TX. The .NET Developer will migrate Legacy ASP and Java applications to .NET, support existing .NET applications, create new functionality for existing applications, and create new applications for business systems as needed. Business applications include HR/Payroll/Time & Attendance/Passenger Call/Fleet applications. Provide 2nd level escalation support on .NET applications, interact with 3rd party vendors to resolve issues, adhere to standardization and documentation policies.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of experience in the following skill sets
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Developing and deploying .NET web applications with SQL Server Back End
- Technology Requirements:
- Client Side: HTML 4 and 5/Native JavaScript/JQuery/AngularJS/CSS 2 and 3/Bootstrap 3
- Server Side: C# 4.0/ASP.NET Web Forms 4.0, 4.5/ASP.NET MVC 4, 5/N-Layered Architecture/LINQ/Window Services/Dependency Injection/LINQ to SQL/ADO.NET
- Database:
- SQL Server 2012, 2014
- Strong SQL Skills
- Normalized database design
- Complex formula writing for payroll purposes
- Stored procedures/Functions/Triggers
PREFERRED (but not required)
- VB 6/ASP migrations
- Java
- Micro-ORM
