Senior Java Developer
One of my market leading clients in Arnhem is urgently seeking a Senior Java Developer for a long-term contract paying excellent rates. If you like it, you will never have to leave.

The Senior Java Developer will IDEALLY HAVE AT LEAST 65% of the following skills:
- You have a completed Bachelor or Master in the direction of technical IT (Computer Science or comparable training).
- You have at least 5 years of demonstrable experience as a Java/JEE developer, preferably with Java 8/JEE7.
- Knowledge of OO design, design patterns. UML.
- Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and automated testing (Jenkins, SonarCube, Git, Maven, XL Deploy, Fitnesse).
- Knowledge of application Servers (JBoss AS), Middleware, operating systems (Linux) and databases (SQL Server).
- Knowledge of Angular (must), HTML5 and JavaScript.
- Good command of Dutch and English, oral and written.
- You have excellent analytical skills;
- You are proactive and communicative;
- For a senior role, we expect you to be used to transferring your expertise and playing a pioneering role towards your colleagues.
The Senior Java Developer will perform the following responsibilities:
- Designing, building, testing and documenting Java applications;
- Performing level 3 support on applications in production;
- You like to seek coordination with stakeholders from the business, projects and management;
- Contributing to streamlining our development process and standards;
- You like to contribute to the transition to a DevOps and Agile Scrum environment.
