Description
Full-stack Java/Angular/SQL development. 12 month contract. Based in Dublin City Centre.
Developing web applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Working on various aspects of an iterative software development life cycle to agreed standards and timelines.
Working closely with team members on deriving functional and technical requirements.
Capable of working in a standalone manner with minimal assistance from other team members.
Build high quality solutions using expertise in Datamodelling, Java and SQL on server side, and Angular on front-side.
Occasional travel to other sites may be required.
Work on projects including re-writing the HR core application in our framework based on Angular.
Experience and Qualifications:
Degree Educated in an IT discipline.
Extensive experience using Java (Core Java/J2EE) and strong relational database skills.
Extensive experience using web applications (eg angular) for Front End development
Must have minimum 5 years of hands on experience developing Server Side applications, OOD, and working with design patterns.
Solid understanding of OO concepts (classes, objects, interfaces, inheritance, encapsulation, polymorphism).
Experience with Web Service (REST) architecture.
Experience with CI tools including Maven, Git, Jenkins, Sonar.
Solid database experience
Experience in working on global projects where resources are based across multiple continents and time zones.
Experience in liaising with outsourced departments for example development resources.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. French is an advantage.
Ability to react quickly to new demands in a dynamic business environment.
Sound analytical skills.
