Position - Senior Java (Storm) Developer
Rate - €490 per day
Location - Brussels
The Role
Senior Java (Storm) Developer
As a Senior Java (Storm) Developer you will have an opportunity to work in Connected Mobility and be at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies with Global applications. This very long-term contract (over a year) will be working on the data pipeline to ensure data is ingested in the correct way. They are looking for someone who will fit in well in the team and has professional experience working on an Apache Storm project.
You
As a Senior Java (Storm) Developer, you will have experience of;
*Good communication skills, fluency in English is a must
*Pro active and outward, showing initiative and drive to get things done
*Very strong in Core Java & applying design patterns
*Strong in Java concurrency and hands on experience in non bloking IO & scalable architectures
*Experience in designing robust topologies using Storm Idioms and abstractions (spouts, bolts, tuples, groupings, etc..)
*Proficient in writing proper unit tests
*Very good knowledge of Storm Internal architecture
*Experience of running Storm cluster in production environment
*Experience in Linux and Shell Scripting
*Knowledge of high throughput nosql databases (Cassandra, Hbase, Hive, DocumentDb, MongoDb)
*Experience in Middleware solution like Kafka, Eventhus, Servicebus, ActiveMQ, etc..
*Knowledge of agile way of working and experience of working in scrum team
Following skills are a plus:
*Knowledge and pratical experience on Apache Spark
*Knowledge of Cloud stack (AWS, Azure)
*Stream Analytics and processing (window operations)
