Contract Senior Java Developer with extensive experience wanted
Key Duties:
- Design and build high quality robust software for online and mobile banking applications
- On-going enhancement of software development life cycle and software engineering best practices
- Evaluate third party technologies and tools, as required
- Performance Testing/Monitoring
- Contribute to the overall technical architecture
Knowledge and Experience:
- Working knowledge of Web Service protocols (REST and SOAP).
- Working knowledge of API layer/Micro service development
- Worked within Agile development teams.
- Experience in development of customer facing applications.
- Knowledge of web development techniques JQuery, JavaScript, HTML etc.
- Android or IOS native application knowledge is a plus
- Implementation and adoption of CI/CD capabilities (Bamboo, JIRA)
- Experience of working with Containers and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Knowledge of design patterns.
- Experience of database concepts and implementation, strong SQL skills
