Senior Java Developer - SCALA - Antwerp - 12+ Month - Energy Sector
My client, an energy company, are looking for a Senior Java Developer for a project in Antwerp. The contract is a 12 month contract with the possibility of 2 days remote working.
About the role:
- Develop and maintenance of mission critical Back End code
- Advanced optimization service in the power grid
- Help the client to evolve their services to stay ahead of the competition
Required Skills:
- 5 years of experience with Java
- Experience or knowledge of REST services
- Experience with SQL
- Basic Knowledge of Linux, maven and sbt
- A relevant Masters Degree
- Have the correct attitude and motivation
Beneficial Skills
- 1+ Year's experience with Scala
- Experience working with Agile
- Experience or knowledge of Play, Kafka, AngularJs 2, Slick 3, Cassandra, Python, MongoDb, Spark and Boot
LOCATION: Antwerp
RATE: Negotiable
CONTRACT: 12months +
