Description

First and Second Level Supporter with profound UNIX and SQL knowledge wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.

Your experience/skills:
  • 3+ years' experience in a First and Second Level Support role with relational DB and writing SQL queries in Oracle and Microsoft SQL, ideally in a finance-related area
  • Profound knowledge of UNIX, especially handling files, searching logs and checking processes
  • Expertise in working with SPLUNK and analysing Stack Traces
  • Certification in ITIL, coupled with knowledge of UML, JAVA, Eclipse and other similar IDE are desirable
  • Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken


Your tasks:
  • Providing day-to-day Production Support on a wide variety of incidents and requests
  • Investigating complex problems involving multiple systems
  • Leading through major incidents by helping to engage other teams and driving resolution of incidents having major impact
  • Acting as a key stakeholder within development projects to ensure quality within software delivery and onboarding of knowledge from Application Development teams
  • Managing communication with internal clients and other IT teams
