Are you an experienced Java Developer experienced with relational database technologies? Do you want to work for a fast-growing and well-funded FinTech startup? Do you want to get into the field of Big Data and work with cutting-edge technology related to this field?
The client is a boutique consultancy that focuses on Audit as well as building business for medium to large banks. Having done a bit of consultancy work, they built two products - an Algo Asset Management trading platform and a Market Data System that is tailored to Relationship Managers. On a broader scale, the company helps financial institutions on their path to digitalization. You will be joining a team of software engineers building a cutting-edge data system for the delivery and aggregation of financial data.
Technically, it is most important to have very good Java skills. Along with that, knowledge of relational Databases such as SQL is required. Ideally, you already have had some experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark and Kafka.
