My Client is a Leading Swiss Consulting & IT Service provider with an enviable market reputation. Due to some internal growth, they are currently seeking a Java Software Engineer Cloud on a permanent basis to be based in Basel.In a long term project, you will develop customer-centric solutions in an agile team based on event-driven architectures using OpenShift, Kafka, Java and Angular. Key responsibilities will include:
- Advising and guiding the project team in the application of new patterns ((event-drivem, cloud-native, microservices, CI/CD, domain drivem design)
- Ensuring performance, security, profitanility and embedding in the application landscape and enterprise architecture
- Inclusion of technical requirements and implementation in IT solutions
- Analysis of problems and preparation of technical specifications
The successful incumbent will possess at least 3 years of professional experience in software development with Java. Initial knowledge in the development of applications with Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, VErtex and Kafka, Openshift. Sound knowledge of software engineering such as process & data modeling (OOA/OOD and UML) and good knowledge of current frameworks such as Hibernate, Spring, Angular and / or React. Good command of the the German language in spoken & written is essential.
