My Client is a Global Banking brand based in Zurich who are currently seeking a Fullstack Developer for an initial 6 months to be based in their central Zurich offices.Key responsibilities will include:
- Implementing high quality, reusable and well tested software solutions (frontend as well as backend)
- Build new functionalities and extend the existing applications
- Work closely with our business colleagues as well as other disciplines
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Write high quality technical documentation
The successful incumbent will possess:
- Java (Java EE) development skills (2 years+) (enterprise context is a plus)
- Excellent knowledge of object oriented programming patterns and principles
- Knowledge of databases and SQL (preferably Oracle)
- Experience with RESTful web services
- Experience in implementing UI components and software solutions using HTML5/CSS 3 & SASS/JavaScript ES5 or ES6
- Knowledgeable in AngularJS / Angular 2+ (Typescript & Angular 2+ is a very strong plus)
- Familiar with multi-browser and multi-device programming & debugging
Banking know-how: financial instruments, portfolio theory, portfolio management processes. advisory process and regulations (eg MiFiD) experience is highly desirable.
