Description
My Client is a local Swiss Bank based in Central Zurich. Due to some internal changes, they are currently seeking a Java Developer - Finance Information Platform for an initial 8 months with a strong likelihood for extension.Key responsibilities will include:
- Development of solutions for the provision of financial market data services, applications and modules & interfaces in close cooperation with the Business Analysts
- Development & optimisation of importers and exporters in the NeoXam Data Hub
- Further development of the modular and specially developed JAVA framework FIMAS-X. Due to new requirements, new features should be implemented and optimisations made to ensure that the data received and sent by FIMAS (financial & market data system) always meet the highest quality standards
The successful incumbent will possess practical programming knowledge with Java and experience in Groovy scripting knowledge. Good practical experience with Unix/Linux and scripting with Shell. Practical experience in the use of relational databases (DML) and German language skills are essential.
