Description
AZURE DevOps Engineer is required for a 6-month contract with a leading Financial Services client based in London. They require an Azure DevOps Engineer from an Applications perspective, NOT INFRASTRUCTURE.
THIS ROLE IS FULLY REMOTE AND INSIDE IR35
1. Application build and release DevOps experience (Java-based applications) using Azure DevOps (yaml based) pipelines
2. Container-based applications build and deployments experience on AKS (Kubernetes) and HDInsight (Spark)
3. Managing Kubernetes using kubectl for pods, namespaces, deployments etc
4. Hands-on experience with building and managing release systems, code merging and promotion, and CI/CD workflows and tools
5. Understanding on code versioning, branching and merging, tagging strategies and how those will be used across the release flow
6. Experience with Scripting languages such as Shell, Powershell.
7. Leveraging Azure DevOps dashboards for quality governance
8. Experience Working knowledge of using Azure Artifacts, package building, etc.
