An experienced DevOps Engineer with specialist expertise in GCP/GKE and Google Cloud Services to join our clients DevOps team.
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with specialist expertise in GCP/GKE and Google Cloud Services to help accelerate the organisation's migration and development of new services on GCP.
We are seeking expertise in several of the following key technologies:
Google Cloud Platform
Google Kubernetes Engine
infrastructure and guidance of development teams working in Java and Node.js.
Skills & Experience
The candidate we are looking for will have experience in:
Developing infrastructure on GCP/GKE with Terraform, Helm, GCP services
Private to public cloud migration
Creating Data pipelines in GCP, between public clouds and private clouds
Working with services based in Java, Node.js
Containerization of services
Public Cloud cost management
Large scale websites with many visitors
In addition, the candidate will be able to act as a catalyst for the acceleration of the organisation's GCP journey by providing compelling justifications for the adoption of certain technologies, techniques and ways of working guiding members of the team with less GCP experience to greater wisdom in this area
