Solution Architect - API/Java/Azure, AWS, GCP/Cloud, DevOps/SpringBoot/Azure design/Azure security model
UK Retailer is looking for a Solution Architect (API,Java,Azure) to join them in a 6 month contract, based in London.
What's expected:
The candidate should have a history of delivering API based solutions in either an Azure, AWS or Vmware cloud deployment architecture.
Experience of design and building APIs using TDD with Java 11 and SpringBoot, Micronaut or Vertex is essential. Exposure to Java Functional API programming experience is desirable using RxJava, Netty Reactor. The candidate should be able to move between design and hands on coding where needed.

Interest/experience of Ecommerce & Fulfilment (supply chain, order fulfilment, picking systems, optimization models)
Able to work with 3rd party vendors and other development teams
Collaborative and able to negotiate workable solutions across teams

Engineering skills
Cloud server applications solution design at enterprise scale
Microservices design and development at scale
Messaging at scale
Distributed systems design
Experience of implementing heuristic and algorithmic optimisations
Java development and deployment to Cloud (Micronaught, SpringBoot, Reactor, JavaRx, Netty etc)
Test driven development (TDD)
Database PaaS configuration, NoSQL, Relational
Messaging (Kafka, JMS, PaaS)
Azure/AWS or GP experience
Azure design and architecture
Azure security model
Azure networking model?Azure DevOps and Pipelines CI/CD
Azure HA and DR
Infrastructure as code (Terraform, GoLang, Pipelines)
