Job Purpose and primary objectives:
Java Microservices Developer
Candidate will join the existing development teams working on strategic SWIFT platform for Payments.
Transformation work underway to make the systems fit for purpose for upcoming ISO 20022 requirements and adoption of Cloud
Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):
This job includes the following responsibilities:
. Draft & own design of Microservices/RESTful services
. Develop & unit test Microservices
. Ensure quality of Microservices
. Review Microservices with all tech lead and obtain sign off
. Set up/Configure environment for Microservices
. Participate in Daily Scrum Calls
. Monitor testing activities and provide support
. Improve performance of Microservices, as applicable
. Strong RESTful service development experience using Spring MVC/Spring Boot
. Hands on experience with Java8
. Thorough understanding of Microservices architecture
. Hands on experience with Hibernate/JPA
. Thorough understanding of core Java (OOPS) concepts and its usage
.
