Description
Senior Java Developer , Lead Java Engineer - QuickFixJ, Kafka, APIA Lead Engineer is needed by a Fixed Income team within a world leading organisation in London who are building a brand new broker aggregator. This will be working on the publication of Real Time intraday broker prices using Core Java and QuickFixJ.
As a trader used application, this will require high quality code utilising Core Java and API engineering hosted on AWS. The position will also provide the opportunity to act as Technical Lead, guiding and mentoring junior members and being the go-to expert on Java development.
Key Skills Required
- Java core (8/11)

- Web Service, WebSocket, REST
- DB (Oracle,PostGres)
- Any enterprise messaging (Kafka preferred)
- GIT, Jira, Confluence
- AWS or Azure services development experiences.
- Understanding of distributed computing, data partitioning
