Our client is currently actively looking to recruit a Back End Engineer/Architect to work on a Headless CMS project.
Tech Stack:
Magnolia CMS platform is mostly Java 8, MySQL and Yaml based. We connect with Back End micro services architecture running on AWS, deployed to Mesos/Marathon with Jenkins and Docker. We utilise Kibana and New Relic to monitor performance, diagnose and resolve issues effectively. We keep track of everything using Git, Jira & Confluence and use the full SCRUM cycle with stand-ups, refinement, demoes, retros, sprint planning and epic teamwork!

About the role:
This is a dynamic and rewarding role which touches all aspects of the companies' digital presence. The candidate will have a chance to liaise with many other teams and be highly involved in the future direction of our clients Digital Division, as this team has become increasingly integral to its strategy. The role will require working collaboratively within a small, close team of developers and will require mature coding standards and good communication skills. They like each Developer to take ownership of designated epics so should be comfortable in proactively leading discussions with the help of the Engineering Manager.
What we're looking for:
Essential:
- Java 8
- Junit
- Experience with working on microservices architectures
- Rest/JSON API endpoints
- Git Framework (we use GitHub)
- Agile Methodology
Desirable (a bonus but shouldn't deter applicants):
- Magnolia or other CMS (preferably a headless CMS)
- Groovy
- Apache Maven
- Jenkins
- Content Repository API for Java (JCR)
- Application Monitoring (we use New Relic and Kibana)
- Have good communication skills
- Enjoy collaborating with colleagues and teams to develop solutions
