Engineering Lead/Manager - Java, React, Microservices, Spring
You will be providing technical leadership and strategic direction as this company continue with their digital transformation sitting in the banking and financial services sector.
This is a hands-off role with a strong emphasis on people management and steering approach, best practices and methodologies etc.
The overall environment is Java, React, microservices, Spring and you should be able to show proven experience and knowledge across all stages of the SDLC in a highly agile working environment ideally in a large corporate or financial services company.
Responsibilities:
- Experience of managing teams in design, development, testing and deployment of web applications on a cloud environment and on-premise environments.
- Ideally previous experience of working in a Java ReactJs, microservices Spring tech environment
- Experience in designing and developing applications using JavaScript frameworks and micro-services.
- Experience and knowledge of code versioning tools
- Experience and knowledge in Object Oriented Analysis and design using common design patterns.
- Experience in managing and maintaining Dev-ops pipelines and development automation.
