Lead Java Consultant - Investment Banking - Fixed Income, Front Office
Our leading Investment Banking client are looking to hire Senior Java engineers on a contract basis into their Front Office Fixed Income group, specifically within their Credit IT team. This role will involve working on various eTrading platforms used throughout the bank, improving the functionality and reliability of the systems across the board.
It's an amazing opportunity to join one of Europe's leading Investment banks, working in a global team and on platforms considered vital to the performance of the business as a whole. The role is 6 months rolling and will suit a candidate with strong banking experience.
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent experience using Java 8.0+
- Experience working in Investment banking, ideally in a Front Office environment
- Strong knowledge of multi-threaded, low latency programming. Performance tuning, data structures, memory management all beneficial.
- Very good communication & organisational skills.
- Good analytical skills
This is a contract opportunity, inside IR35 through Umbrella, and flexible around rates of £ a day. Please get in touch for more details!
