About The Role
Support Engineer required in Compliance IT - Client Account Risk; The primary goal of Client Account Risk IT is to enable HSBC to prevent individuals and entities from using its facilities for the purposes of financial crime. Candidate will be working across multiple Financial Crime Case Management applications, which facilitate all types and levels of financial crime investigation globally, across all lines of business, and support regulatory filing.
Purpose
This position is for a skilled Platform & Application Support Engineer to provide technical guidance and technical delivery, in two main areas. Application stability and Evergreening of Java-based applications and APIs and Oracle Back End databases. Strategic delivery of new enterprise level case management applications, pivoting to microservices, and a Cloud and API-first architecture

Main Duties.
Identify & deliver platform & Java application fixes. Provide technical guidance to development teams at platform and application level, inc. patching/upgrading. L3 production support & troubleshooting activities. Lead technical changes to enable re-platforming and integration of new microservices
