Senior Java Developer - Java8+, Multithreading, concurrency, Core Java, Spring, Restful APIs, Banking
A leading banking client of ours within the finance sector are looking for a highly technical Java Developer with expert knowledge of Multi-threading, low latency and concurrency processes. Experience with Spring Boot is also crucial. This will be a key role which will be pivotal to the development of a strategic new part of the FX business.
Responsibilities:
- Experienced developers with previous experience in the end-to-end design, development and support of large scale data processing systems built on Oracle.
- Ability to work and liaise directly with the Front Office, Middle Office and various functions
- Familiarity and confidence working in an agile development environment
- Familiarity with CI/CD and devops
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Must have excellent knowledge of Java8+.
- Must have excellent knowledge of Spring Boot, Hazelcast, Eureka
- Must have experience in building multi-threaded, low latency, high throughput, highly resilient applications
- Must have a working knowledge of the design of scalable, high availability, supportable distributed architectures
- Must have an excellent grasp of messaging and communication protocols including point-to-point (TCP), and RPC's including reliable and guaranteed messaging delivery policies, familiarity with Middleware messaging frameworks ideally Solace.
- Knowledge of all aspects of software design and development including the judicious use of domain specific languages and code generation techniques
