Data Architect - AWS, Python, Java, Kafka
Outstanding opportunity to join this highly regarded, industry leading, digital transformation technology services company as a Data Architect. This business provides architectural leadership to enterprise scale, prestigious organisations with highly complex technical landscapes who are looking to deliver major digital transformations of their applications and data, building new or re-engineering existing applications and migrating all in the cloud (AWS).
You'll require the following skills and experience:
- Excellent knowledge of Big Data technologies, for example Cassandra, HBase, Kafka and/or Samza
- Hands on data engineering experience (Java, Python, Scala)
- Good overall knowledge of data technology and trends, especially of AWS data products (Glue, EMR, MSK, etc.)
- Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Good knowledge of both open source and vendor data platforms
- Good knowledge of search and graph technologies, for example ElasticSearch and Datastax
- Experience of designing for both structured and unstructured data
- Good understanding of Datamodelling
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be eligible for SC Clearance
London & Remote. £600-£650 per day (outside IR35)
