Description
Our industry leading client is searching for someone who is a team player, impact oriented and enjoys a collaborative way of working. You will work as a Backend Engineer to join the interdisciplinary development team.
A successful candidate should have experience in:
- Scala
- Working on new projects and quickly integrating with teams to adapt to new environments
- Java development/Java developer (Java 8/11)
- Spring/Spring Boot on Linux
- Microservices and distributed systems in a web technology environment and HTTP & REST/JSON
- SQL and NoSQL databases (eg Mongo, Cassandra)
- Test automation, continuous delivery systems and build tools (Jenkins, Git, Gradle, Maven)
Bonus if you have:
- Data engineering with Spark, Hadoop or Kafka
- Functional and reactive programming Experience
- Basic knowledge of cloud based infrastructure
You must also be proficient in English for this role.
