Senior Java Consultant - Enablement IT - Top tier Investment Bank
Our client, a leading European Investment Bank, are actively looking to hire Senior software engineer with excellent hands on Java knowledge to join their Enablement IT group, providing applications for both the equities and Fixed Income products for the bank's Front Office performance. The role will largely focus on development of sever-side apps to support integration, workflow and data integration. This includes APIs, data transformation & workflow design.
It's a great opportunity to join a leading Investment bank, working in a large global IT team and on platforms considered vital to the performance of the business as a whole. The role is 6 months rolling and will suit a candidate with strong banking experience, ideally within Front Office.
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent knowledge of Core Java (J2SE)
- Proven experience working on the design, development & implementation of complex, PnL critical systems
- Knowledge of SQL, Spring, Hibernate all beneficial
- Ideally, 3-5 years min. experience working within a banking environment
- Strong communication & organisational skills.
- Good analytical skills
This is a contract opportunity, inside IR35 through Umbrella, and flexible around rates of £800+ a day. Please get in touch for more details!
