Java Automation Tester//£500 per day//Inside IR35//Hybrid (Livingston office)
Xpertise recruitment are looking for an automation tester to help a close client who operate in the broadband and telephony industry.
Here is a contract overview:
- Automation Tester
- £500 per day
- Inside IR35
- Hybrid working when restrictions allow (Livingston based office)
- Java/Cucumber/Selenium
What you'll do:
- Design and build of automated tests to ensure adequate and effective test coverage
- Provide test assurance of the user stories according to the defined acceptance test criteria
- Regularly participate in estimation activities and identify opportunities to maximise test benefit within the team.
- Provide assurance at team retrospectives and planning sessions to ensure test best practice and continual improvements
What you'll bring:
- Experience in Java, Cucumber, Selenium and SQL is required
- Experience of using IntelliJ, Jenkins, Jira and Postman
- Expertise in delivering automated test frameworks in a test-first CI/CD environment
- Ability to prioritise your own workload and be able to highlight early when work is at risk of not completing within a sprint.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and best practices.
- A collaborative and influential mindset with an ability to communicate at all levels.
