Principal Engineer - Remote Contract, FinTech, Agile, .NET, Cloud
We are looking for a Principal Engineer on a contract basis, initially for 6 months but is very likely to extend past a year. This is an Outside IR35 contract opportunity and you'll utilise your previous experience to help shape the way the FinTech grow and expand into EU, APAC and US markets.
Any previous exposure to regional growth & scaling of a platform, product or company into new markets is very desirable but not essential.
This Principal Engineer will have a exceptionally strong technical background in Software Engineering however for the most-part, this role will be Hands-off and focus around System Design and Software Architecture, Stragetic Decision making. You should still be able to communicate and understand the most modern of development practices, principles and be an expert in Agile ways of working.
Daily Rate: £750-£850 per day
Location: Fully Remote
Technical Stack: Ideally .NET but can consider Java, Python and other OO language backgrounds
Key Experience:
- High Transactional Software
- Product experience that are built in Microservices
- Software Engineering background in .NET or other OO Languages.
- Cloud Exposure in ideally Azure but AWS and GCP is also considered
- Building highly scalable software applications
- Empowering your teams to work in the most efficient manner whilst maintaining a fantastic workculture
- Top level soft skills, people and stakeholder management skiills.
