My client is in search for a Software Engineer to join their SaaS Analytics team helping them to build a global data architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with multiple different teams in a DataOps / GitOps environment, constructing data pipelines, API's and a very scalable environment with Snowflake, Kubernetes, Kafka and serverless architecture
- Build out and manage the data pipelines across the different SaaS products within the platform
- Work on the construction of a cloud data architecture (AWS)
- Write well-designed, efficient code to develop tools and applications
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Creation of Batch and Streaming ETLs, we use technologies such as Airflow, Spark, Python, SQL
- Monitoring and maintenance of data pipelines
- Ensure data governance and quality
Experience required:
- Designing, building, and testing applications with a high-level language such as Python, Java, GO
- Experience in databases like MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB
- Developing APIs
- Data pipeline creation such as Airflow, Luigi
- Cloud experience preferably AWS
- CI/CD or DataOps
- Infrastructure as code (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
- Distributed data store (e.g. Kafka)
