REQUIREMENT
Main outcomes & objectives
. Provide advanced search and workload reporting.
. Delegate the QA configuration to a self-service portal.
. Simplify the Security model.
Additional services
. Enhance and support existing CMS products.
. Develop products which comply with non-functional software requirements such as accessibility, security, performance, quality, maintainability, reusability, and Pega best practices.
. Actively participate in all team events, leading where specialist knowledge is required and supporting the team to improve their process through inspection and adaptation.
. Troubleshoot and fix production problems.
. Coach and mentor other team members and advise on team training requirements
. Routinely use collaborative development practices such as pairing and mobbing techniques in programming, code reviews, and requirements analysis, etc.
Essential skills & experience
. PCSSA with significant commercial experience with Pega 7 or 8 (preferably 8.4)
. Ability to work with business stakeholders, to understand the context, and to focus on delivering value.
. Excellent collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills
. Experience working in an Agile environment.
Desirable skills & experience
. Knowledge of pair programming and/or mobbing
. Pega 'built-on' technologies, including Java, JavaScript, JSON, and JSP
. Experience with version control systems, eg GitLab
. Human-centred, research-driven, inclusive design practices
. Experience of automated testing with Cypress
. Introduction of new or improved processes in development environments. Experience of data migration in Pega using an ETL model.
