Description
Monarch IT are working with a leading financial firm based over in Dublin, who are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join them on a 12 month contract. This position will likely extend for a further 12 months. Please note that they will require you to be on site 1/2 days per week in their Dublin office.Pay rates: €750 - €900 per day.
Duties:
- Leading and delivering on complex cross departmental projects
- Able to scope out long term business implications relating the projects - Scoping ROI, costs, benefits and constraints alongside technical and business partners.
- Perform Proof of Concepts
- Lead implementing of processes, identifying gaps, provide of estimates for business solutions
- 10 years + experience/Expert level: Java
- SD processes (SAFe/Agile)
- Experienced technical experience around Tomcat, SQL, Pivital, Kafka and Spring framework, Shell Scripting, JSON, Multi-threading, Maven, Linux.
- Proven experience analysing, designing, developing and delivering new software solutions
- Experience with cloud software development
- Relational database experience (Oracle)
- Understanding of AGILE development practices
- Expertise with Eclipse or IntelliJ and ability to compile, deploy, and execute code artefact
