Are you a Java Developer with experience using the ION toolkit? I want to speak to you!
I am recruiting on behalf of a Global market leader in the finance industry, who are in need of 2 Java ION developers to join a fantastic project.
Are you passionate about delivering new and exciting applications? Are you motivated to deliver real business value whilst ensuring existing functionality remains intact?
We're looking for someone like that to:
- Develop solutions to key business challenges developing Java applications or using the ION toolset
- Refactor and enhance existing components and solutions
- Manage UAT and demonstration sessions with key stakeholders
- Elicit key information from business stakeholders, transforming these into concise IT requirements
- Collaborate with other global IT teams
- Assist production operations team in rollout and production support
This role is for 12 months initially, 3 days hybrid working at their Broadgate, London office and is paying up to £850 inside IR35.
To apply for this role you must have:
- Strong Java development experience
- Previous ION knowledge, to an expert level
- Good understanding of low-latency, multi-threaded code
- Sound knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Exposure to functional programming is also highly desirable
- Experience of working in agile teams
