Description
Scala Developer required to assist in on-going development tasks for a global client within the Financial Services sector. This is a long-term project for a candidate with sound Scala/Java development skills and is comfortable writing SQL with PL/SQL Stored Procedures. The right candidate should also have strong understanding of software builds with release management skills, familiarity with development patterns and experience with projects in multiple technologies and function domains.
Additional skills that could be a bonus.
- Experience programming in Python
- Familiarity with RDF and SPARQL
- Understanding of Reference Data domain
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Apache Hadoop
