Java/Angular Developer

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Java/Angular Developer.

You will be required to use an FCSA Accredited Umbrella Company for this role.

Key Requirements:

- Providing UX advice to Product Owners to help assist in the development of requirements which will provide a rich and valuable experience to our users.
- Help maintain & build frameworks and common components across the Front End which will help make the teams more efficient and assist in them building a consistent experience across the platform.
- Mentor and guide more Junior Front End engineers in offshore locations.
- Ownership of large scale deliverables from inception to production.
- At the coding coalface.
- Influencing necessary change.
- Assisting Product Owners to help them understand good UX and build an excellent experience.
- Mentoring and leading junior employees and help them in their own progression.
- Delivering a challenging programme of work to high standards.

Key Skills:

- Very experienced Angular developer, with a background working in a wide spectrum of Front End libraries.
- Experience of various automated testing platforms for UI testing such as Codecept/Puppeteer/Cypress.
- Must demonstrate ability to assist with CICD process and build automatic testing capabilities to allow delivery at a high cadence.
- Able to demonstrate experience building a number of rich Internet applications.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
- A track record of working in Financial Institutions is helpful.
- Computer Science degree, allowing the candidate to demonstrate good fundamental software concepts such as imperative/declarative/functional/OO languages.
- Experience with micro-frontends.
