Description

Responsible for:

  • Defining and implementing CI/CD process and tools for ingesting data into the integration layer
  • Designing, implementing, and managing both the client-facing integration and the internal integration layer into the Real Time application
  • Design of engineering solutions on Amazon Web Services
  • Prototyping ideas and making decisions to help improve and scale the data pipeline
  • Defining integration and security best practices for the organization when building on AWS services
  • Implementing continuous improvement, triaging development options to focus on the balance between urgent and/or high-value development items
  • Clearly explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences

What you'll need:

Essential

  • Minimum 7 years of designing & managing implementation for Real Time applications, specifically with experience managing stakeholders in client IT departments (Mandatory)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in AWS, specifically building data integration for streaming applications (Mandatory)
  • Scripting with Java and Python (Desirable), Unix Scripting, SQL, Scala
  • Experience with Kafka and Kubernetes (Mandatory)
  • Experience with AWS-managed services (eg API Gateway, SNS, SQ, Glue, Kinesis, lambda)
  • Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment

Desirable

  • Experience in Infrastructure as code (ie Terraforming)
  • Experience with monitoring tools (ie Cloudwatch)
  • Experience with Docker container technology
