Job Description
Background:
- The Client have a fledgling online presence with a B2C claims management solution deployed in 23 countries, and B2B client portal that was launched before Christmas and is now in a pilot with the first distribution partner. They also have public facing websites in each of the countries they operate (25+).
- We are currently engaged in the development, enhancement and support of the Web Claims and Client Portal solutions (the stack is LifeRay, Java, Weblogic, and Oracle).
- We also have a growing UX presence on site creating and deploying content on the public and internal websites.
- We hosted an Innovation day for the client in Raheen at the end of January and showcased our Dell Online capability; this has created a good interest and gives us credibility in the space.
Opportunity:
- The Client has prioritised an investment in a Web Point of Sales solution as key initiative in 2014, this hasn’t been formally scoped yet and we have an opportunity to engage now and help shape that strategy.
Challenge:
- While we have been successful in our Web Claims, Client Portal and more recently in the UX work, we are viewed by the client as the guys who execute, not the guys who set the direction
- The client is using other third parties in this space
Requirement:
- We need an experienced technical solution architect who can work with the client to understand the high level business requirement, evaluate the as-is online topology and help guide the client to a fit for purpose digital solution that is achievable, cost effective and scalable. The objective is to help the client set the direct, shape the solution and position ourselves as the lead technology partner as they move to a digital business.
- We need someone who can guide them in both the functional and technical aspects of the challenge
Salary:
€320 - €340/ Day (DOE) Neg.
