Proteus Europe are currently looking for an experienced integration designer/developer with a background in Java and WebMethods for one of our clients based in Belgium.Candidates must speak fluent Dutch or French.
Job description:
MAIN TASKS
-You will join the Design team and participate as a Integration Developers/Designer on various projects Develop and maintain webMethods integrations, b2b scenarios and process models
-Designs and builds adapters services, interfaces, integration tools
-Develops, in co-operation with the application designers, the designs and data models related to integrations
-Take part in the design process with the Integration Architect
-Create and maintain technical documentation and drawings
-Integration testing
-Support the operational teams for troubleshooting, deployment, application maintenance
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Mandatory
-Strong Integration development and designer experience
-A minimum of 4 years experience in building integration solutions using software AG (preferably webMethods 8.2) product suite (Broker, Integration Server, Mediator, Centrasite, Optimize) with extensive knowledge in the architecture, design and development of SOA, ESB, BPM, and CAF platforms
-Excellent Knowledge of and experience WebMethods adapters like, JDBC Adapter, Peoplesoft Adapter
-Excellent Knowledge of and experience XML, XSD and Flat file parsing.
-Experience in development of flow and java services
-Strong understanding in service based design principles and WM web services for the SOAP and REST implementation
-Experience with communication protocols such as HTTP(S), FTP(S), SFTP and messaging Technologies
-Experience with Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and Business to Business (B2B) components, JMS, JDBC, IBM MQ Series
-Experience with data modeling and relational databases, EDI transactions, and object-oriented programming
-EDI Webmethods implementation experience
-Experience with Webmethods Trading Networks implementation
-Experience with integration testing
-Adequate experience in system analysis and design, development, testing, implementation and support.
- Knowledge in webMethods administration (i.e. parameterization/configuration, deployment of packs, process & service monitoring).
-Writing high-quality design documentation.
-Ability to pick up, understand and apply new technologies, sometimes at short notice
Preferable
-Experience with PeopleSoft integration is an added value
-Sufficient knowledge of UNIX/Windows(x) operating systems
-Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting is a plus.
-Experience with other SOA suites and tools like Oracle Fusion Middleware (OSB, BPEL, BPM), IBM WebSphere (MQ, Message Broker, TX, ESB, Process Server), Sterling Commerce, jCommerce, .

This is an exciting opportunity for a Java & WebMethods developer/Designer who will be responsible for understanding customer integration requirements, analyze and implement Enterprise application and B2B integrations accordingly. As a Java & WebMethods developer/Designer you will coordinate and work within the design team together with QA, development and operations teams throughout the entire development cycle. This position will work with a team of 5-6 developers/designers on Enterprise application integration implementations.
