Java Developer, Websphere Commerce, Contract, NottinghamMy client is seeking to hire a contract Java developer with strong Websphere Commerce/E-commerce sector experience for a role working within a Financial/Retail Environment. You will be working on complex internal systems for my client. The role will involve lots of design and development they are seeking a highly skilled professional who can join them with technical ideas and you will have the ability to influence the E-commerce projects going forward.
Rate: £ daily
Location: Nottingham
Length: 6 Months
Knowledge and Skills:
Broad knowledge of Java/J2EE technologies (Eclipse, Spring, Hibernate)
Strong Websphere Commerce v7
Broad knowledge of front end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
Knowledge of infrastructure systems (Cisco, Linux)
Broad Experience of IBM's Websphere suite
Experience with TDD / Agile development methodologies
A willingness & ability to pick up new technologies.
Working as a Websphere commerce developer you will design, develop, implement, maintain and support Websphere commerce based E-commerce solutions, both bespoke and third party Solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders in establishing, refining, and documenting application functional and non functional requirements. Identify suitable platforms, design, develop and implement software and related processes to satisfy these requirements.
