Systems Test Analyst - Oxford - ContractDay Rate: £230-£270 per day
Start Date: April-May 2015
Location: Oxford
Contract Length: 6-12 Months
An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Systems Test Analyst/Engineer to work as the Common Infrastructure Test & Acceptance Engineer on a major programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for the functional qualification of the Common Infrastructure. This product will provide network, storage, application hosting and management of a new system highly responsible to the organisations new programme.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of COTS Infrastructure, systems architecture and networks
- Knowledge of military or aerospace engineering, certification and safety standards
- You will need to be a British National with SC clearance.
- Knowledge of computing systems and software engineering methods.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure, systems architecture and networks
- Definition of test schedules, scenarios, scripts, environments and tools
- Analysing problems encountered during testing and proposing solutions.
- Ability to work independently and be pro-active
- Ability to analyse problems encountered during the test run and work out solutions
- Support the identification of qualification equipment requirements
- Support setup of test environment/tools
- Experience with DOORS
DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Systems/Software Engineering experience
- Experience with C#, Java, Scripting languages
- Experience with Linux, MS Windows
- Experience with communication networks
- Experience with VMWare
- Experience with UML in particular with Enterprise Architect
- Combat System Experience
