Software Engineer (only Europe)

Description

We are looking for software developers to be involved in all phases (design, development, testing, documentation and support) of Hazelcast software modules. Qualified candidates should have recent and hands-on experience with Java. Experience with distributed computing and multi-threaded programming desired. (Candidates in remote based locations will be considered should requirements and skills be met and are in a time zone close to Altunizade, ?stanbul.)

Desired Skills & Experience:

Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.

Experience in network programming and concurrency.

Experience with distributed computing and multi-threaded programming.

Skeptical and somewhat obsessively care about quality of his/her code.

It is a big plus, if you have worked on Hazelcast, or other IMDG and/or NoSQL solutions.

Experience in Java (C++ experience will be a plus)

Excellent communication skills.

Experience in open-source projects.

We look for candidates with strong fluency with spoken and written English.

Responsibilities:

Involvement in all phases (design, development, testing, documentation and support) of Hazelcast software modules

Strive for a deep understanding on technologies like distributed computing, multi-threaded programming and network programming.

Always willing to research, discover and discuss the new technologies to improve software quality.

Help sales team by working with prospects and customers to help design and implement solutions for their business needs with Hazelcast.

Assist in the architecture development and deployment of customer’s projects on-site and remotely.

Ability to work remotely while working well within teams
