6 Month Contract - Day Rate DOE
A European Market Leader in the IT Security industry is currently looking for an experienced JAVA developer who has worked with n-tier architecture, full-stack development and has experience designing solutions from scratch.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead a Greenfield project and use the latest technologies in the market.
You will be responsible for:
- Selection and evaluation of tools and frameworks
- Bringing agile technologies into the team
- Mentoring developers
- Designing and developing a security application from the ground up.
They have an upcoming contract in Dublin South with an opportunity to work on a Greenfield project for a major client.
This is an excellent opportunity to come into the project and take a lead in developing the application from scratch.
This project is brand new, it is the opportunity to work on a new project from scratch and work with the whole software development life cycle, and everything will be developed from scratch from the Back End to the Front End.
There are not many open Greenfield projects like this in Dublin.
Your technical opinions and decisions will be implemented on the project once there is a solid business decision around the technologies used.
On a day to day basis you will be developing the project from scratch from the Back End to the Front End and everything in between.
You will be working with the latest technologies in the market
The project is brand new so you will have the opportunity to bring your own experience and ideas to the development
You will also contribute to Technical Specification
SKILLS:
7+ years experience with Java/J2EE Development
JSP/Webservices
Spring or Spring MVC
SoapUI, JUnit and JMeter
Front End Web Technologies like JavaScript OR AngularJS OR ExtJS is a big advantage but not essential
