My client who are a leading mobile operator company are currently seeking an experienced Java Developer on a 6 month contract.Daily rate: DOE
6 months with possible extension
The successful Java Developer must have in depth experience in a Linux environment with expertise in building high volume, distributed and scalable applications.
- 8+ years in software development, primarily Java.
- Linux experience
- Experience in Spring
- Experience with Lucene or Solr or elastic string searches
- Passion for agile development methodologies
- Experience in test driven development, unit testing and code quality.
Desirable:
- Experience with JavaScript development and JavaScript libraries such as JQuery, HighCharts, Backbone, AngularJS.
- Exposure to Telco environment
