Applications Manager in OSS App Dev space
Dunwoody location (need to be onsite - no remote)
Contract - 9months +
$50-60/hr
This is an Applications Manager in OSS App Dev space.
OSS (Operational Support Systems) space (ie. Service Fulfillment, Service Assurance or Service Delivery) Those all make up OSS Framework
Familiarity with Granite Application is HIGHLY preferred, but not mandatory
Must have SDLC background in working with developers and be technical themselves
Must have good communication skills
Any experience working in Telecom App Dev space is ideal
Experience with Java and Oracle is highly desired.
No remote opportunity
Located in Dunwoody
Need someone with more dev experience. Person will be reporting to the Director.
Will have some PM aspects but will be more about managing the initiatives they are doing (more about the execution). Will be overseeing the lower environment and the production environment.
The resource is needed to help manage an environment for a specific application = Granite
This application has several initiatives on-going and needs someone to coordinate development efforts, integration efforts, and testing.
The role doesn't require specific application knowledge, although it would help.
The role does require that person know the application development life cycle and tasks, resources, skills necessary to manage an environment.
Experience with Java and Oracle is highly desired.
4 major ongoing projects:
- gigabyte Ethernet services (aka fiber to home services)
- upgrading IMS (IP multimedia subsystems) this is like their next gen IP network services
- Fulfillment order to cash project
- inventory app = granite (ok if they have like Metasol, Netcracker or other inventory app)
