My client is a Global Leader in Designing and Implementing IT solutions for the Financial Service arena and is currently undertaking a large recruitment drive across London and Europe.
We are currently looking for a number of talented and experienced Senior C++ and or Java Developers to join their rapidly expanding development team on an initial 6 month contract basis.
What we are looking for:
More than 5 years in programming either C++ and or Java J2SE.
Ideally from investment banking and particularly familiarized with risk domain (desirable)
Excellent communication skills
Proven delivery on projects covering the entire project life cycle
Act as an expert and a reference for less experienced developers
Specifically on J2SE
Desirable:
Experience with certain EE-family technologies: JMS, JNDI
Experience with open source solutions: spring IOC, ivy, gradle, git
Knowledge of bash and groovy
Ability to support tasks for productionized system; ability to find root causes and workaround for urgent problems with production systems
Understanding of baisc networking principles: TCP/IP protocols stack, NATs, unix, and windows
Knowledge of JBehave functional test framework
Oracle database & PL/SQL
Oracle Coherence
Languages:
High English level both written and spoken. Direct exposure to English speaking clients is a must.
Locations:
Barcelona, Madrid, London and Valencia offices.
