Description

Summary:
  • The primary job responsibilities will be the implementation and support of all facility information technology needs.
  • Installation of computer controlled automation projects in the factory environment
  • Provide 24X7 support for factory machining centers and third party manufacturing software applications
  • Facilitate cell integration
  • Provide information technology consulting services to Operations on factory system initiatives
  • General on-site support of all information technology infrastructure components including network devices, Servers, storage, PCs, printers, and telephones.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must have a 4 year degree in Computer Science, or Information Systems.
  • Candidate should have strong communication skills, be an innovative thinker, strong problem solving skills, work well in a team environment, and possess strong customer relationship and customer support skills.
  • Individuals should demonstrate innovative qualities to explore new technologies, which improve the efficiency of the factory environment.
  • Candidate must be proficient in Windows 7 and Active Directory - How to reset Passwords, Create Accounts and Manage Groups.
  • Must be able to configure and troubleshoot issues regarding desktops, workstations, and laptops.
  • Must understand Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to Office 2003 and 2010 and be able to Install/Configure applications.
  • Availability to work off Shift
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time as well as well as being a collaborative team member.
  • Job requires extensive active movement throughout plant including but limited to Climbing stairs and steps, lifting of devices, long reach, and pushing and pulling of equipment.
  • Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
  • General Networking skills, such as TCPIP settings on a PC, some knowledge of how VPN and Routers work.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary on/off-shift and during weekends.
  • Able to respond to demanding target dates
Additional desirable skills:
  • MCSE; Dell Certification
  • Understand Change Management Process, IP/Conference Phone support, projector support, or telecommunications; work experience in a manufacturing environment; proficiency in software development, including but not limited to Java and .NET; experience with the design, implementation, or support of control systems; and a general understanding of computer networking (TCP/IP)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2008 Server SP2, Including but limited to DFS and Print Server.
  • Knowledge of Handheld Scanners and their operation in a factory environment
  • Knowledge of mobile phone devices such as Apple, and Android Phone and etc.
  • Working knowledge of iPad and Windows Tablet and working within a Business network.
  • Strong script writing skills such as Javascript and DOS Batch files, PowerShell, VB Scripting
  • Knowledge of Cisco network hardware and software.
