Project - Senior PI/PO Solution Architect
*SKILLS - Must be a Solution Arch- not just a developer.*
Principal Duties and Responsibilities of the SAP PI Solution Architect:
- Gathers business requirements and assesses change requests and solution proposals of other team members
- Ensure compliance with Companies IT processes
- Create and maintain end-to-end functional and technical designs for interfaces during Roll-in and Template Enhancement projects
- Develop and/or coordinate Interface developments
- Design and execution of interface testing and bug-fixing
- Suggest improvements to current approaches and operations within the PI environment
- 3rd level support
Critical Competencies/Minimum Requirements:
- At least one considerable project with SAP PO in the last few years is a must.
- You have good knowledge of most integration technologies as well as specific SAP PI architecture knowledge
- You have excellent Java programming knowledge
- Minimum 5 years' SAP PI experience including development of PI adapter and complex pure Java Mappings as well as usage of XI, SOAP and MDM Adapters
- You have done several full-cycle SAP projects
- Exposure to PI 7.31
- EDI specific knowledge
- Monitoring through Solution Manager PI work center
- modules & ECC/CRM ABAP enhancements a plus
- You are able to work independently and as a team member. You have effective teamwork skills
- Advanced user level skills in the MS Office suite
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills. Fluent English is a must
- You have a good understanding of business & IT processes
- You are very pro-active and customer orientated
Preferred
- Experience coordinating small development teams
- Exposure to Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Participated in project SIT/UAT test cycles
- Experience using Wily Introscope
