Responsibilities;
- Work on designing and improving our platform on AWS and be involved in the migration to our private cloud
- You will lead and personally contribute to improve our operational processes
- Pair with developers and stakeholders to share knowledge, best practices, and collaboratively improve our platform
- Use automation to configure our services in repeatable and scalable way
- Build CI and CD pipelines
- Take an active role in supporting and to finding the root cause of operational issues, and prevent issues from reoccurring
- Champion, lead and promote DevOps practices wi
Qualification
- 5+ in develop operations - ability to design and support multi-tier web applications, implement monitoring, logging, and other scaled services; and thorough understanding of technologies behind internet large services
- Extensive experience working in Lean / Agile environments
- Critical to have hands on relevant and recent experience in:
-- Linux and Open Source environments
-- Understand Linux internals
-- Scripting (Bash, Perl, Ruby)
-- Configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
-- Virtualization technologies like VMWare, KVM, OpenStack
-- Cloud platforms like AWS
-- Container technologies like Docker,
-- CI to CD (Jenkins, Wercker, Travis CI and similar)
-- Experience using Java (not only) build and test tools (Git, Maven, Nexus, Graddle, Cucumber, WireMock and others)
-- Large datasets using databases including SQL and NoSQL
-- Java web applications at scale
