Description
Accountable to the Assistant Director of Applications for all aspects of delivering customer focused, robust, reliable, responsive and secure, high quality IT services, specifically but not exclusively:
As a senior manager, contribute to the strategic development of IT Services and operational management.
Systems administration, application management and configuration of relevant enterprise applications
Develop enterprise applications systems, strategies, standards, policies and procedures, integrating technologies, consulting and influencing change.
Using Investors in People (IIP) framework, provide leadership and management to ensure that staff and 3rd party suppliers are skilled, equipped and motivated to deliver high quality, customer focused services.
Build strong customer relationships to understand and manage demand and requests for enhancements or new academic applications, ensuring that the operational requirements of each of the Faculties and Departments are understood, assessed and prioritised.
Lead and manage the installation, configuration, integration, testing, trialling, documentation and define maintenance regimes for the introduction of commodity off-the-shelf applications, including ensuring customer requirements and expectations are met.
