Test Automation Engineer - Digital - Selenium/Webdriver/SOAP/Java - Luxembourg
Rate: £300 per day/€350
Length: 1-2 year contract
We are working with a client based in Luxembourg who are currently looking to hire a Test Automation Engineer on a long-term contract.
This position is recommended for somebody with specific expertise in IT Quality Assurance and Quality Control, Definition of test plans, Coordination of test activities or willing to develop as a Test Manager.
Your Role
- You will be part of a time with the following key responsibilities:
- Advice on test automation strategy and identification of regression tests including maintenance of test script repositories for updates to existing software
- Identify, analysis and design of all testing documentation (including test cases, test scenarios and scripts) in collaboration with application developers, analysts and business representatives
- Contribute to the development of the internal test automation (framework developed in Java)
- Help to identify project and product risks from quality control perspective
- Execution of assigned tasks and recording of daily progress within the supporting planning tools
- If needed, help other Testers in tests case and test scenario execution on different platforms and browsers of the integrated systems, including defect creation and defect follow-up
- Working in Agile methodology
Required: Test Automation Engineer - Digital - Selenium/Webdriver/SOAP/Java - Luxembourg
- University degree with extensive experience in the IT field
- Outstanding understanding of test automation and quality procedures
- Very good knowledge of Selenium, WebDriver, SoapUI
- Experience in development of automation tools using Java/Java EE
- Understanding of Web Services
- Experience with Oracle databases
- Capability of working in an international/multi-cultural environment
- Quick learning ability
- Good communication skills in English (French is an asset)
