ConSol Partners' client is a global system integrator looking for an Advanced Technical Systems Analyst to work on a 6 month extendable contract in Luxembourg

Location: Luxembourg
Length: 6 month contract (Long Term project)
Languages: Fluent in English
Position Purpose:
- An Advanced Technical Systems Analyst with infrastructure architecture skills is responsible mainly for documenting, designing, modifying and/or expanding computer information systems to improve production workflow or to serve new purposes. Project scope will be infrastructure and application migration project.
Knowledge and Experience:
- 3-6 years previous work experience as an Advanced Technical Systems Analyst
- 5+ years' work experience on Information Technology projects supporting an enterprise-wide environment
- 3-5 years in the financial services industry would be an asset
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong documentation skills using tools like MS Visio, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
- Strong knowledge in core IT Infrastructure: Datacenters, machines, network devices, storage devices
- Strong knowledge of UNIX Systems: IBM AIX, Sun Solaris, Redhat Linux and
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows ecosystem (Active Directory, MS Exchange )
- Good knowledge of Middleware components (IBM WebSphere MQ, IBM WebSphere Application Server)
- Good knowledge of IT tooling (Monitoring, Scheduling, Backups)
- Good knowledge of database Servers (Oracle, Progress Open Edge, Sybase ASE, MS SQL Server)
- Basic knowledge of relational data model analysis to categorize applications by business family
- Basic ITIL Process knowledge
- Basic knowledge of IBM zOS Mainframe system
- Basic knowledge of different programming languages (eg PL/SQL, JCL, Java, C, HTML, VB, Visual C++, C#, .NET etc.)
- Prior experience with single platforms and familiarity with others eg MVS, Internet, Client Server
